Provincetown

Provincetown - the uppermost tip of the Cape – is a unique town boasting some of the Cape’s most spectacular vistas, giving you a true sense of the area's unique geography. Climb the Provincetown Monument and let your eyes feast on that 360-degree view of the entire Cape; visit Race Point, the old life-saving station all bleached by 100 years of sun and wind; stroll along the beach, and watch an unbelievable wrap-around sunset from Herring Cove.

Back in town, just revel in the fun and craziness of this Cape outpost. P'town is known as a premier place for people-watching. You can also fill your time visiting the galleries, the Art Association's Museum, at the Town Hall listening to local and visiting street musicians and catching a ride on the Provincetown Trolley. Then treat your taste buds to any of the great restaurants - whether you go for the ultimate fresh lobster or a lowly (but absolutely delicious!) foot-long hot dog. Our favorite place is Napi's any day of the week, but especially in the fall, if it's drizzly or chilly, try a soul-warming bowl of classic Portuguese Kale Soup - highly recommended with some fresh crusty bread! Napi's has one of the most outrageously creative menus on the Cape. You'll love it - and you'll love the town, too!
