HOW'S THE CAPE COD MARKET? (Updated on 3/6/14)
Updated 7/24/14 The five Towns comprising the Lower Cape have experienced decreased level of
activity thus far in 2014 when compared to 2013.
The number of units sold in the Lower Cape are down by about 6% in 2014 as compared to
2013, with an 7% gain in median sales price. Brewster has seen a 19% increase in total units sold, with median sales price up 9%.
Harwich is down 28% in units sold, though prices are up 5% and days on market are down 29%. Orleans sales are down 13% with prices down 8%. Chatham experienced flat number of sales but a 28% increase in median sales price. Eastham is also flat thus far in units sold, with prices up 9%.
